Fermentare 15 zile in inox, cu 3 zile de pastrare pe drojdii inainte de presare. Maturare 8 luni in butoaie din stejar frantuzesc de ciclul II, III si IV, urmate de alte 10 luni in tancuri de ciment.
"The 2010 Le Cupole di Trinoro is an attractive, mid-weight wine laced with dark red cherries, flowers, mint, tobacco and licorice. This is a relatively subdued, soft vintage for Le Cupole, with less exuberance than has been the case in some other previous vintages. The blend is 50% Cabernet Franc, 40% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015.
Vintage 2010 was not easy for Andrea Franchetti's Tenuta di Trinoro. The cold weather was especially tough on the later-ripening Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. When all was said and done, Franchetti left quite a bit of unripened fruit on the vine.
